Durban, RSA, October 13, 2015 --- Gospel Rap powerhouse
MAWAT is having a great year. Earlier
this winter he took home the BEST GOSPEL RAP Award in the Independent Gospel Music Awards popularly known as the INGOMA
Awards.
Last Saturday, (10 October 2015), the SABC Crown Gospel Awards
announced it’s 2015 nominees and MAWAT was nominated in two categories: Best Gospel Rap for his 2014 EP, REBIRTH and Best Praise Song for his current single featuring the legendary Sfiso
Ncwane titled UMSINDISI.
Not new to the Crowns, MAWAT is the reigning holder of
the highly contested BEST GOSPEL RAP Award as
he took the award home in 2014 for his 2013 release NO OTHER WAY. He also won the same award in 2013 as part of the
Urban Gospel crew Fifty-50 Family.
MAWAT, his team Set Free Media and his fans are hoping he
will bring home a fourth edition to his growing silverware on the 15th
of November when these prestigious awards will be held.
